Is there a need for an online Youth Ministry Journal in Scotland? (or is there one I don't know about?).
Youth Ministry seems to suffer from a lack of thinking out loud. This is getting better but we still seem pretty poor at writing about our profession in a professional or academic way. Is this harsh? Unfair? Or is there a need to encourage people to research, study and write?

To start, let me post the Oxford English dictionary definition of community:

Kids/Teen Games are an exciting opportunity to see sport reach across communities and to use sport as a catalyst for outreach - it is not solely sport, check out http://www.kidsgames.com/ for further info. I believe that the opportunity for the 'church'/christian community to get involved in this initiative in the years up to Glasgow 2014 are huge.
I've copied a message from a friend below re events that are currently happening. I hope it excites you too.

Welcome to the Scottish Youth Ministry Network online.
It seems like there are lots of people working away in their own patch doing great work with their young people but we seem not to spend time talking, listening, sharing and supporting each other.
That could be because of time and distance, or because youth workers are famously bad at writing things down and sharing good practice.
